Event Description
- EMF & temperature sweeps, EVP/spirit-box sessions, a traditional table-tipping séance, trigger-object experiments, a dowsing-rod walk, and an optional short lone vigil in a supervised room.
- No-touch and guide-supervised throughout — every activity is optional, nothing is staged, and no outcome is ever promised.
- Investigation tiers (Premium/VIP) are strictly 18+; Twilight/Family tiers are lighter, non-investigation experiences.
A private takeover of the Ancient Ram Inn — a 12th-century timber-framed house in Gloucestershire, long marketed as one of the most haunted buildings in Britain.
Owned by the Humphries family since 1968 and steeped in centuries of reported activity, the inn’s deeds record it as dating ‘to Time Immemorial’. We hire it exclusively for three nights of genuinely small-group investigation in a building where space is tight and atmosphere is everything.

- Twilight Family Hunt — an early, gentler introduction to the building with hot chocolate.
- Standard Escape (18+) — a guided investigation of the inn’s most active rooms with equipment and unlimited hot and cold drinks.
- Premium Vigil (18+) — extended small-group vigils, plus a supper, finishing at a reasonable hour.
- VIP Witching Hour (18+, capped small) — the fullest, latest investigation of the night.

Good to know
- Age policy varies by tier — check the ticket option you pick. Photo ID may be requested for age-restricted tiers.
- These are genuine historic buildings: expect cold, dark, uneven floors and, at some venues, steep stairs and limited step-free access.
- Bring a torch, warm layers and flat, sensible shoes.
- No physical contact takes place. Every vigil is guide-supervised and every activity is optional.
Before you visit
- Entry & timings: Doors from early evening; no under-18s admitted after 6:00pm on any date. Photo ID may be requested on arrival.
- Parking & getting there: There is no on-site car park — please use Wotton-under-Edge’s public car parks and walk the short distance to Potters Pond, out of consideration for neighbouring residents.
- Code of conduct: Standard, Premium and VIP tiers are strictly 18+, mirroring the inn’s own ghost-hunt policy. This is a no-touch, guide-supervised event — please follow all host instructions. Anyone who is abusive or under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused entry or removed without a refund, and latecomers may not be admitted.

Which ticket should I choose?
Twilight for families and first-timers, Standard for the full after-dark tour, Premium if you want a small-group vigil with equipment, VIP for the extended late session on 31 October.
Can I change my date?
You can move to another available night up to 48 hours before, subject to availability on the night you move to. Get in touch and we will sort it.
Do I need any experience?
None at all. Guides run every session, explain the equipment, and stay with your group the whole time.
